HSH Radon Vented Panel
Under-Slab Insulation Layer for Radon Mitigation
HSH Radon Vented Panel combines under-slab insulation with a gas-permeable layer for radon depressurization, delivering 50% better air flow than 4″ granular.

HSH Radon Vented Panel
HSH Radon Vented Panel is a high-density EPS panel for under-slab radon mitigation that also provides continuous insulation. Its 2′ x 4′ interlocking panels create interconnected channels beneath the slab, allowing soil gas to move efficiently to the outlet pipe while delivering 50% better air flow than 4″ granular.
It can be installed directly over undisturbed soil, compacted fill, or sand, replacing the granular gas-permeable layer typically used under slabs. An approved air and vapor barrier is installed above the panel as part of the complete radon mitigation assembly.

HSH Radon Vented Panel Technical Data
HSH Radon Vented Panel is available in 2′ x 4′ panels.
HSH Radon Vented Panel Installation Notes
HSH Radon Vented Panel is installed nodules-down to create the sub-slab ventilation layer. Its interlocking edges help form continuous channels beneath the slab, so taping panel joints is not required.
An approved air and vapor barrier must be installed above the panel to help prevent radon gas ingress. For added durability, Subterra Protection Board can be installed above the panel while adding another layer of continuous insulation.
